Our charming Ward 6 stretches along Highway 3 to Simcoe; south to Lake Erie and Port Dover; and east to Stelco and the Jarvis area.
It would be an honour to represent you and advocate for you, the people of Woodhouse and Port Dover. We must continue to work together to protect and enhance our most valuable assets; - our recreational and commercial fishing; our boating and waterfronts; our farms, fields and forests; and the charm of our small-town rural way of life.
This all can be enhanced through an honest and financially responsible municipal government.

I live a couple miles east of Dover, married to a lifelong resident. I have two adult children and a grandson.
I bring a 30-year career in commercial construction sales, estimating, design and project management.
I also work in addiction support. My career has taught me how to relate to people with respect and how planning is foundational to the success of any endeavour.

FIGHT
Inappropriate property tax increases , and inappropriate new taxes including the Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT).
OPPOSE
The Minister’s Zoning order to fast track a city of 40,000 people between Stelco and Port Dover. The infamous (MZO)!!!
DEMAND
Transparency and effectiveness in Norfolk's taxing, spending, permitting, and tendering process, and how construction projects are negotiated .
PROTECT
Our jobs and businesses specific to farming, tourism, and industry. Continue to challenge the Municipal Development Corporation (MDC) proposals.

I will speak up and represent the ideas and issues of all of you in Woodhouse and Port Dover. Please let me know your priorities.
Property taxes are one of the few things that municipal councils can directly control. Residents are frustrated with skyrocketing costs from inflation and high interest rates, shrinking disposable incomes, and local governments that will NOT cut wasteful spending and taxes.
Property taxes and water/sewage rates can hurt seniors and residents on fixed income.
I will FIGHT for tools like a referendum or petition to CAP property taxes below the rate of inflation.

During the online advanced voting period, Norfolk County will have several in-person locations set up to assist with online voting. There will also be an opportunity at these locations to vote using paper ballots as an advance voting option.
Online Voting Assistance Centres will be available at the following locations:

WHEN CAN YOU VOTE ONLINE
The online voting portal will be open from 10:00 a.m. on October 9, 2026, to 8:00 p.m. on October 23, 2026 at 8:00 pm.
HOW TO VOTE ONLINE
To vote online, you will need:

Your Voting PIN on your Voter Information Letter
It takes 7 to 10 minutes to complete the online voting process. Once you begin, you will have 15 minutes to complete the process.
Voter Information Letter and Voter Pin
Eligible voters will receive a Voter Information Letter by mail. This letter will include your unique Voter PIN along with your full name and address. This letter will also provide instructions on how to begin your online voting session and a link to the online voting portal.
If you have not received a Voter Information Letter in the mail by October 9, 2026, you can visit the Office of the County Clerk during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday) to be issued a letter with your unique Voter PIN. Elections staff will need proof of your eligibility to vote to issue a Voter Information Letter. Review the list of acceptable identification before you visit.
IN-PERSON VOTING
In-person voting for the 2026 Municipal Election will happen on Monday, October 26, 2026.
WHAT IS IN-PERSON VOTING
In-person voting requires voters to visit a polling station on election day. At the polling station, voters physically complete a paper ballot, which is processed on-site through a vote tabulator.
WHERE AND WHEN TO VOTE IN PERSON
Voting Day is Monday, October 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. In-person voting is done at a polling station. Polling station locations for each Ward in Norfolk County will be held at the following locations:

VOTER IDENTIFICATION REQUIRED
Identification is required when you vote. You will need to show ID that contains your name and address. You may have to show two pieces of ID to accomplish this. Please bring an original or certified/notarized copy.
